Die Serie C der HGR vereinigt drei unterschiedliche Typen von Daten:
The C-Series of the Half-Gray Series combines three different types of data:

• Strukturierte Datenbanken / Structured Databanks
  

  Sie werden in einer für das Softwaresystem Kleio unmittelbar vorbereiteten Form angeboten.
  These are offered in a form prepared directly for use with the Kleio software system.

• Fortlaufende Texte / Running Texts
  

  Fortlaufende Texte werden als unmittelbar zugängliche Kleio-Datenbasen zur Verfügung gestellt und sind auf die Volltextkomponenten dieses Systems abgestimmt.
  Running texts are directly accessible to Kleio databases and are adjusted to the complete text components of this system.

• Datensätze zur historischen Statistik / Records for historical statistics
  

  Unter dieser Rubrik werden zwei Arten von Datensätzen angeboten:
  Two kinds of records are offered under this rubric:
  

  1. Strukturierte Datenbasen, die sich aufgrund ihrer Beschaffenheit für die statistische Auswertung eignen. Ihnen ist aus diesem Grunde ein auf die Analyse mit SPSS-X/SAS abgestimmter Datensatz beigegeben. Ferner werden die notwendigen Mittel (Thesauren bzw. Codebooks) mitgeliefert, um aus der zugrundeliegenden Datenbasis eine Version des statistischen Materials zu erzeugen, in der sich die speziellen Kodierungswünsche des Benutzers berücksichtigen lassen.
     Structured databases which on the basis of their composition, are suitable for statistical analysis. For this reason, a record adjusted to the analysis with SPSS-X/SAS has been added to them. In addition to this, the necessary means (thesauruses or codebooks) have also been included in order to produce from the fundamental database a version of the statistical material in which the special coding desires of the user can be accommodated.
